Help Wanted

Apex Automotive Magazine is growing at an overwhelming pace and we could use some help. As a first-year startup, we’re still trying to find our financial footing and none of our founding members earn any sort of wage. This is a passion project for us, as we continue to grow into a sustainable entity. That being said, we’re looking for help in a number of areas.

Distribution

Do you have a car, and are willing to drop off magazines to a specific list of locations, as well as seek new distributors in your area? We’re looking for folks in strategic areas that can cover a defined region. With each issue, we can provide boxes of magazines to drop off at your local automotive part stores, garages, car dealerships, grocery & convenience stores, and a number of other location types.

Contributing Writers

Have a way with words, and a passion for automotive? We are always looking for talented contributors that want to submit their own stories, or are available for assignments. We cover automotive builds, area shops, tech tips, events, and a number of other segments.

Advertising Sales

Sales is the driving force behind any successful business venture, and while we’re doing ok, we can always use more support, especially in other regions. We’re looking for Sales Reps to serve businesses in the Albany, Oneonta/Cooperstown, Syracuse, Binghamton, Cortland/Ithaca, and Rochester markets. These would be commission based positions. Contact us at the address below for specifics.

Photographers (especially events)

While we have a number of AMAZING photographers on staff, it’s hard to make it to every event out there, and we’re open to using others’ photos for car show & event coverage depending on space availability in the magazine. Most of our feature photography is done by our talented staff, but if you think you could bring some talent and flair to the table, we’d love to check out your portfolio and see if there’s an upcoming project that you might be a good fit for.

*Compensation can be discussed on a per-project basis.
