About Catskill Mountain Thunder
This is a family run operation that relies on entertainers, staff and volunteers. All of whom each year do their best to keep everyone smiling. We cannot thank them enough for the amazing effort they put forward each year. We are a go with the flow, family of friends and we look forward each year to seeing everyone.

Everyone; biker or not; and every bike brand is welcome. The only thing we don’t welcome is a bad attitude :-).

See Ya There – All the Best,
The Handel Family and extended family of friends

Due to unforeseen circumstances and weather, times and entertainment are always subject to change. “Blackthorne time”, tends to run late a bit, as we go with the flow and roll with the punches.

We appreciate your patience. In all seriousness, trying to get all you blokes in the right place at the right time is no easy task 🙂

The Catskill Mountains are breathtaking, but they don’t do much for cell service. Cell service at the resort and surrounding region is spotty at best.

Folks that use AT&T seem to have the best luck, folks with Verizon rarely, if ever, have service. Others are quite spotty as well, expect it to be catch as catch can and plan ahead. We have *very* limited WiFi service available in the office area and as you can imagine, it is overburdened during this event. So, please do not rely on either methods of communication.

Please forward any band requests to Dale at

Please Note: We receive an incredibly high volume of band offers and will directly contact bands for booking information as, or, if needed.

Unfortunately, not all emails will receive a reply. Our sincerest apologies, but we receive far too many requests to reply to each of them individually. Thank you for understanding.
