NASA NE HPDE 2018 @ Watkins Glen International

WATKINS GLEN Mon/ Tue April 23-24 HPDE only

This event includes all HPDE groups and Instructors. HPDE1 drivers are automatically assigned instructors. DO NOT choose Instructor option.
Racers/TT are welcome to run in HPDE4.

Detailed info concerning this event will be emailed about 7-10 days before the event. Schedules will be posted on NE website as soon as they are finalized, usually 3-5 days before the event.

Gates will open Sunday at 6pm, Camping is allowed for Sunday and Monday nights.

Garages will be available to rent for a two-day fee of $100. Instructors must rent garages if wanted.

IMPORTANT: If you are registering a convertible car please call our office 1-973-900-7272 before completing registration. VERY IMPORTANT !!

FLR 2018 SCCA Autocross (Solo) Test & Tune #1 @ Seneca Army Depot

Our first Test & Tune event of the 2018 season is at the Seneca Army Depot located in Romulus, NY!

This is not a points event.

Need a chance to fine tune your car before the season gets into full swing? Need to get a feel for those new parts you just installed? We have the answer, our first Test and Tune event of the season. The focus in on getting as many runs as possible and getting your car dialed in. No Novices (no instructors wll be available,) No PAX times, No Classing, No Karts just run after run.

Registration is open from 7:30-8:30.
Tech will run until 9:20 with a driver meeting taking place at 9:30.

This event runs at the same time as the Evo School Phase 1 (Opposite end of the runway). If you are attending Phase 1, do not sign up for this event. This Test & Tune Event is capped at 20 Participants.

Spring Play Day 2018 @ Back Country 4 Wheelers Inc.

Come on out and stretch your legs and shake off that cabin fever! We’ll have the usual spring slop for y’all to come slide around in and coat your junk with to show off to all your friends! $20 for rig and driver, $10 for everyone else over 13, we will also have food and drinks available for purchase, and as usual if you’re brave enough you can join us for camping the night before.

Grove Grog Mud Bog 2018 @ Grove Grog Mud Bog

Please come join us for 2018’s Grove Grog Mud Bog On May 12th!
Track and Trails are open from 11am until 5pm. Admission is $20, kids 15 and under are free. Under 21 must be supervised by an adult. $10 Camping Friday, sign in from 3pm till 9pm, Quiet Hours 9pm – 7am.

PLEASE BE ADVISED:
NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED
HELMETS ARE REQUIRED
Trucks and Jeeps must have working brakes, wipers and lights.
Make sure all rigs have secure recovery points (front and rear)

PLEASE RIDE RESPECTFULLY
Keep ATVs and off-road vehicles off the main road.
All riders and lose objects must be secure in vehicles (no riding in bed/back of trucks).

FLR RallyCross Event 1 at Watkins Glen 2018 @ Watkins Glen International

Welcome to the first event of the 2018 season of FLR RallyCross! Rain date for this event is Saturday 5/26.

We’re excited to be running at our new location just outside the grounds of Watkins Glen International proper. Looking forward to another season of fun in the sun! National classing will be available upon request. If you have any question about eligibility of your vehicle, please ASK before you come to the event! (email rallyx@flr-scca.com).

WATKINS GLEN DOES NOT PERMIT ANYONE UNDER THE AGE OF 18 ON THE PROPERTY. Camping is also not permitted on the grounds.

Entry Fees
SCCA members: $40.00
Non-Members $50.00

Schedule of Events:
PLEASE do not show up any earlier than 8 am. This is when our insurance is effective.
Registration and Tech Inspection: 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM (cars will not be accepted after registration is closed)
Driver’s Meeting and Safety Talk (mandatory): 9:40 AM
First car off at 10:00 AM (we will do a parade lap)
Events usually finish around 4 PM.

Lunch is not included in entry, one hour break will be given for lunch. There are several places in Watkins Glen where food can be purchased. Attendees are encouraged to bring food/snacks and water. If we can get started sooner than the one hour is up, we will! More time = more runs.

This is a rallycross, be prepared for any type of weather. We will run in the rain if it’s not terrible.

Helmet and minimum 40PSI in your tires mandatory. Loaner helmets are available.

Directions to event from the town: navigate to Watkins Glen International (2790 County Route 16, Watkins Glen, NY), drive west past signs for Lot 1, 2 and 3, turn left (south) at the next intersection (Kuhl-Winner Way), the event will be up on the right just past WGI Parking Lot 6.

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS! Positions on the RallyX board are available, safety stewards always needed, course designers, registration and timing stewards, marketing, you name it we need help in it. Contact Michelle Richau for more information.

Wyoming County International Speedway Opening Day – Meet the Drivers! 2018 @ Wyoming County International Speedway
May 19 @ 5:00 pm – 10:30 pm

Join us as we kick off our action-packed 2018 season. Opening day will include a ‘Meet the Drivers’ session on track during intermission, where you can get an up close look at the cars and get to meet the racers behind them. In the racing action, four of our divisions will be kicking off their 2018 campaigns; the SST Modifieds will battle in a 35 lap, $1,000 to Win event which will headline the evening along with the Super Stocks, 4 Cylinders, and Vintage Late Models. The 6 Cylinder division will open their season during week 2 on May 26th.

2018 Spring Mud Bog @ Frozen Ocean Motorsports Facility

The mud bogs were a big hit last year and we had lots of fun so we will start of the 2018 season similar to last years events then add some exciting new things as the year goes on.
